CANCELLED: 2nd Annual Canada Day Boat Parade

UNFORTUNATELY THE PARADE HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING. Let’s hope for more cooperative weather next year! Stay safe everyone and have a great Canada Day! 

Celebrate Canada Day at the 2nd Annual USLA Boat Parade! Decorate your boat with a theme and join other cottagers in a fun boat-past event.  The parade will start just off the west end of Salmon Island and will cruise over to Crowes Landing past the government docks so the judges can get a good look at each boat. There will be 6 prize categories:

• Best overall effort
• Most unique
• Best kids’ boat (all passengers 16 and under)
• Best non-motorized entry
• Best Canada-themed boat
• Best multi-generation boat (3+ generations)

At 5 pm, check the USLA Facebook page to see if your boat has won a prize. Prizes will be awarded at 5 pm at the Crowes Landing Dock. All are welcome but participants must be USLA members to be eligible for a prize.
